Umiya Vidhya Vihar Sankul focuses on understanding, learning and other activities. Its teaching programs aim to build thoughtful professionals and its research programs deepen understanding of human settlements.

The institution tries to keep pace with the changing educational scenario by adding classrooms as required and introducing technological devices like LCD projectors and sound systems to assist learning.
